On The Hill have facilitated a truly valuable experience for our Year 10 students. Within the inspiring setting of the Teign Valley, our students learned about sustainable food practice, engagement with the land, and developed relationships with each other in a way that simply cannot be replicated in a classroom setting.

LAND BASED LEARNING
ON THE HILL
WELCOME TO ON THE HILL
On The Hill is a community interest company located in the beautiful Teign Valley in South Devon. We provide land based and experiential learning opportunities to a wide range of people, including school groups, university students and adults.
We operate for the benefit of the community and to encourage people to engage with the land and to develop relationships with each other through meaningful and rewarding activity.
At the heart of our approach is an immersive residential experience involving the development of relationships with the land, with work and with ourselves.
“I would recommend time on the farm to anyone. It brings a fresh view of the world and the possibilities of change, particularly around the effects our choices have on the environment we live in.”
(Year 11 pupil).
