"We had the most INCREDIBLE time at the family camp. Wonderful people, beautiful setting, delicious food and the perfect balance of activities and free time. It honestly couldn’t have been better, we are still buzzing and know it’s an experience we will all remember and cherish forever. Thank you!"
"We loved the activities so much. They felt relaxed and connected to the place and there was plenty of space in between to just be. Spot on!"
"Absolutely delicious food, plentiful and perfect for kids and adults. Lots of yummy snacks too"
"It's hard to describe the magic that the team at On The Hill manage to weave but it feels as though it is the thing many of us long for. I can't recommend highly enough"
Now more than ever we need community. At the farm, we will together create a sense of home whilst away from home on holiday.
There will be games and workshops for adults and children developing skills in green woodwork, felting, basketry, pizza making, gardening, clay play, drumming, singing, juggling and much, much more.
Evenings of stories and live music around the fire, candlelit cinema in the cob barn and even some of the very best of the farms own cider, and a drinks selection at the Dock & Thistle!
We are lucky to have the wonderful Lotte Norgaard offering massage n our beautiful yurt throughout the camp. You can read more about what she offers and pre-book here
Trips to swim in the river, time with the farm animals, take night walks, sleep out in bivy bags if you wish under the stars, and so important, space to dream.
WE WILL COOK FOR YOU! Family Camps will be fully catered using our organic produce and consumed in our beautiful barn dining area.
We foster a community culture and ask that all families come prepared to be of service to the whole by helping out with washing up and any other camp care tasks. This will be initiated with a 'sign up to help out' rota system.
The Dock & Thistle tuck shop will sell a range of snacks and campsite provisions, and our mini library (beautifully made by two 2021 camp participants) stocks a range of books and games for you to borrow while on the farm.
Family Camp 2023 dates coming soon.....
We are hosting our second camp in August to families who would like to spend their holiday living, playing, crafting, working together, building friendships and celebrating on a farm nestled in this stunning Teign Valley in Devon.
We have the option of three ticket prices, and ask that you choose which is affordable to you
