We are delighted to be hosting The Cob Barn's theatrical premiere, with this original piece of devised theatre.

Walking. Falling. Getting Up… againis a devised performance by professional and non-professional actors from South Devon that looks at the causes of overt and covert depression in men and how the consequences of shame and grandiosity often contribute to addiction, suicide, difficulties relating, violence and war.

Walking Falling Getting up…again examines how this underexplored mental health epidemic affects everyone and asks can we be brave enough to talk about it

Inspired by Terrence Real’s seminal book – “I don't want to talk about it. Overcoming the secret legacy of Male Depression", you can expect a rollercoaster evening of unexpected real and fictional events, clichés, some laughter, some pain and some tender moments.

With some humour, improvisation, words, dancing, red noses, music, visual projections and more, Walking, Falling, Getting up … again asks what it means to be and become a man today?

You are invited to come and join the ride…
